AROHA
The contemplation of Aroha considers the profound impact of kindness and empathy on the journey of the soul, suggesting that the ascent to higher states of being is intimately tied to the quality of our connections with the world and the love we cultivate within ourselves.

ABOUT THE SERIES
Vedic Inspirations grew from my lived experience of cultural overlap. I was raised in a Muslim minority community, surrounded by by Hindu traditions. What began as coexistence slowly became curiosity. Over time, I found myself drawn to the deeper philosophical layers-where Islam and the Vedas don't stand as rivals, but resonate like parallel reflections of the same search.
This series draws from India's temples, relics, histories, and symbols-not to illustrate religion, but to translate its emotional energy into form, texture, and colour. These works are meant to feel uplifting and contemplative: an invitation to cross boundaries, and to sense the shared human hungerformeaning.

My mixed-media method of making artworks gives an excavated finish, rather than merely painted. It fuses heritage, science, and spirit into a single act of creation. Surfaces are built in layers: digital pigment, mineral dust, kumkum, airbrushing, and embedded elements that add depth and physical presence.
I often integrate 3D-printed components and dental composites-materials drawn from precision disciplines-alongside stones and semi-precious fragments that carry symbolic charge.
